One Response to “Photo Of The Week: Moscow Marathon Man”

  1. Yep! A quite inspirational picture. I’ve run Moscow International Peace Marathon and seen this old man on the route. On September 12th, 3250 runners straggled their characters near the Kremlin walls on the distance 10 and 42 km. The name of the runner you pictured is Andrey Karalenka. He is 76 year old and Belorussian. Andrey came from a small town Zhodino, located 44 km from Minsk, a Belorussia capital. He run 10 km race and showed 01:32:32 time. But the best time in this age group showed Vladimir Griban’kov, a Russian 79 year old participant. He covered 10 km for 00:46:44! Amazing speed for his age!
